I’m Dr. Shyamsunder Biyani, a dedicated yoga therapist with over 18 years of experience in promoting health and well-being through yoga. With a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Yoga, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy, I’ve honed my expertise to integrate traditional yogic wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques. As a certified Level 2 Yoga Teacher by the Ministry of AYUSH and Yoga Certification Board (YCB), and a proud member of the International Yoga Alliance (IYA), my work is deeply rooted in authenticity and excellence.

I serve as the Director of the Patanjalee Shyambhai Institute of Yoga & Therapy and Secretary-Trustee of the Patanjalee Shyambhai Yoga Foundation. My journey is inspired by my mentor and Guruji Sunderesan, whose 70 years of dedication to yoga left an indelible mark on my own path. My goal is to bridge ancient yogic principles with contemporary practices to empower individuals to achieve holistic health.

Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to yoga education by teaching Diploma, PG Diploma, B.Sc., and M.Sc. yoga programs at esteemed institutions, including Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University. My insights have been shared through academic publications, TV programs, and radio segments, earning recognition such as the Dronachariyar Award, Yoga Bhooshan Award, Yoga Kalaimamani, and The Best Teacher Award.

My specialization lies in crafting personalized yoga therapy for a range of conditions, including chronic pain, migraines, insomnia, respiratory disorders, and stress management. By combining yoga postures, breathing techniques, and lifestyle adjustments, I offer a holistic, side-effect-free approach to health and wellness.
